PacWall-E Fever? 3D Wallpaper 2 Version 1.1 in Ultra High Definition (Up to 4k) - Created in Blender 3D
This is for desktops and laptops. There is another submission here in Deviantart for portable devices.
Version 1.1 Update: It also includes now in the portable devices version IPhone 5 standard resolution (640 x 1136) and IPhone & IPad parallax resolutions to be used with the parallax effect. So it has resolutions for parallax and non parallax use. In addition it includes Android resolutions formatted properly for the different Android devices including phones and tablets. It also includes now in the desktop version an Ultra HD version (4k). This last one is true Ultra HD resolution, completely sharp.
This was originally a simple 3D artwork interpretation of the original Pacman game to be used as a wallpaper. After creating the original Pacman version and the Wall-E 3D model for the AC3D screensaver I thought that maybe I could do something creative with both themes together and this is it. Originally I created it fairly close to the original Pacman table except that I added a wee bit of additional pizazz in 3D like a few reflections and some slight color adjustments and gave Pacman some eyes similar to those used in some actual 3D Pacman games. You can still download that other version with Pacman instead at my places in Deviantart and Mediafire. In the original I also placed the characters and objects vertically because I thought that they would look kinda better for the purpose of the 3D version in this artwork, the difference with this one is of course that I gave the table a different angle (a different camera position) this time around.
Just like with the second Pacman version I did the walls very differently with this second PacWall-E wallpaper. I had this idea from the get go too, it is just that I didn’t know which one would look best when I did the original true Pacman version of the wallpaper. In the original Pacman maze what you see looks more like tubes instead of walls, they are supposed to be walls (of course just a limitation of what the artists could do with the existing technology back then) but the memories or the “feel” I get of them are more of something like tubes so I started to do it with tubes first then I though that later on I could try them as walls too. I kinda liked both versions so here is a slight variation of the first design. Just pick the one you like best.
Like many of my other wallpapers it is in many resolutions from 1024 x 768 all the way to 3840 x 2160 pixels (for desktops and laptops) and there will be a separate file for portable devices like IPhones, IPads and Android phones and tablets. I did it in many portable devices aspect ratios and resolutions for Android and Apple devices. So there will be two versions of the zip file, one for desktops & laptops and another for portable devices like smartphones and tablet computers to prevent the wallpaper file from becoming too large. I used very little compression to preserve a high quality.
